RECAPTURE OF ESCAPEE

The hut in which he sought” concealment was surrounded by, the police, and in attempting to get away Beehre jumped through a window right into the arms of a constable.
Charged this morning with being an incorrigible rogue, Beehre was sentenced to three months’ hard labour, concurrent with 14 days for default in the payment of his previous fine, and on an indictment for a breach of his probation order he was convicted and discharged.*
