LONG LOST BROTHER
RECOGNISED IN PHOTOGRAPH. A woman living in England recognised a long-lost brother in a photograph published in the Star, Johannesburg, South Africa, several months ago. The photograph was a snapshot taken by flashlight in St. Mary’s Cathedral Hall at the time men were being employed in cutting, up meat for distribution under the auspices of the Mayor’s relief fund.' . _ ■ A opy of the newspaper containing this photograph happened to fall into the hands, of Mrs. Mary. L. Collins, of Eastbourne, England, who, glancing at the photograph out of idle curiosity, was astonished to see a man whom she immediately recognised -s her brother, MrA. Winchester. She had not heard t)f him for nearly 20 years. She recently wrote to the secretary of the Mayor’s relief fund in Johannesburg asking him to forward to her brother letters which she enclosed. ■ Unfortunately the secretary of the relief fund did not know the whereabouts of Mr. Winchester.- Further inquiries were being made. \.
