Leading business men who returhed -to Sydney to-day from the East declared that the Japanese were now amongst the largest buyers of Australian wool. They estimated Japanese wool purchases would soon reach 1,000,000 bales a year. The visitors were convinced that Japan’s influence would soon lead to prosperity in. Manchuria,, which presently would be needing Australian wool in the same proportion as Japan.
