GILMOUR CUP BOWLING

DRAW FOR SEVENTH ROUND. The draw for the seventh and last round of the Gilmour Cup bowling competition is as follows. The games will be played on Thursday, January 12: Waitara v. West End at Waitara, Vogeltown v. Paritutu at Vogeltown, New Plymouth v. Fire Brigade at New Plymouth, Fitzroy a bye. Waitara v. Paritutu at Paritutu for the Gilmour Cup. Paritutu: Brown, Richards, McWhinney, Vincent; Jordan, J. M. Smith, Simpson, Jackson; W. Mills, S. G. Smith, Gibson,' Thomson. Waitara teams to play Paritutu at New Plymouth to-day are: W. Morey, R. Jenkins, L. Sampson, T. Fowler (s); G. Wills, M. Erceg, G. Bird, C. Whyte (s); F. Locke, H. Purdie, E. Spurdie, H. Moyes (s).

BOWLS FOR CHRISTMAS GOOSE. COMPETITION AT FITZROY. The final of the competition at, the Fitzroy Bowling Club for the Christmas goose was won by H. Round, who defeated J. Somerton. Harris and Campbell were the other semi-finalists.

The following West End rinks have been selected to take part in the New Year tournament: Duffin, McKeamey, Hurlestone, Brace (s); Inch, Dunlop, Tomlins, Hill (s); Hannan, Aylward, Marsh, Douglass (s); J. Bruce, Charters, Sheehy, Billing (s); Preston, Thomas, Lee, Turnbull (s); Casey, Logan, P. Mason, Luscombe (s); Spedding, Watkins, May, G. Sole (s).
