STRANDED IN AUSTRALIA
SEEKERS FOR EMPLOYMENT. WARNING FROM GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. As the result of advice received from Mr. L. J. Schmitt, New Zealand Trade Commissioner at Sydney, the Government warns people intending to migrate to Australia with the hope of obtaining employment to make provision for their return passage in the event of their not obtaining employment. Mr. . Schmitt says the number of stranded New Zealanders asking for assistance from him is greater than ever.
