The question of church union was discussed by the Christchurch Presbytery this morning, when a resolution was carried unanimously opposing union at present, holding “that the time is not ripe for an incorporating union between the Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian churches, but it is realised that there is a call for closer co-operation. A conference is suggested to that end.
