SLIPPED FROM BANK INTO CREEK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ashburton, Dec. 14. Geoffrey William Deal, aged 66, married, was found floating in a creek on his farm, Effelton, last evening. Marks on the bank indicated that he slipped when he went for a drink. The man was subject to fainting turns. The body was found by a son, who went in search at dusk.
