CHURCHILL’S DAUGHTER WED

MOBBED BY CHEERING CROWDS. MANY NOTABLES ATTEND. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copy right. London, Dec. 12. Silk-hatted and smoking a cigar, Mr. Winston Churchill accompanied his daughter Diana to St. Margaret’s, Westminster, to marry Mr. John Bailey, son of Sir Abe Bailey. The church was crowded with notables, including many Ministers. “ The bridal couple on leaving were greeted with terrific cheering. Thousands broke the police cordon and rushed forward. The couple fled down the path alongside the church, twice entering a cul-de-sac in their efforts to avoid the crowd. They were finally surrounded by hundreds of cheering women and had to wait while mounted police cleared a path for their motor-car.
