SUTCLIFFE OUT FOR EIGHT

ENGLISH ELEVEN AT WAGGA , I — MATCH ENDS IN TERRIFIC HEAT. TATE, AMES AND BROWN BRIGHT. By Telegraph—Brew Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11 p.m. Sydney, Dec. 12. The English cricketers completed a two-day match against Southern Districts of New South Wales at Wagga to-day. England replied to Southern Districts’ 226 with 313 and in the second innings the home team had lost seven wickets for 68 when stumps were drawn. The terrific heat culminated in a violent dust storm and some rain. Sutcliffe went cheaply, Sadler catching him at eight. Tate, Ames and Brown pleased the crowd with free hitting, including a couple of sixes. The local bowler Rumble, a left-hander, found the wicket to his liking .and made the ball turn uncomfortably for the batsmen. Scores are:
