£999 THEFT CHARGE AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 30. - A company secretary called at the detective office this morning and surrendered himself. Later he was charged with theft as a servant of £999 from the company. He was remanded and his name suppressed. Bail was allowed.
