HAWERA ITEMS.
Miss Mollie Black returned on Saturday from a short visit to Wellington. Miss Smith returned last week from a health-recruiting tour to the islands. Mr. and Mrs. Caselberg, Masterton, are Mrs. H. M. Caselberg’s guests. Miss Ruth Pease returned from Wellington during the week-end. Mrs. Mac Diarmid, who has been Mrs. W. J. Bright’s guest, returned to Wellington last week-end. Mrs, S. M. Wilson, Wellington, is staying with her grand-daughter, Mrs. A. W. Wilson, Dive’s Avenue. Miss Ruth Alexander, Waverley, is a visitor to Hawera for the Livingstone—■ Blair wedding and is staying with Mrs. A. Blair. Mr. and Mrs. Blair (Maxwell), Miss Blair (New Plymouth), Miss Home (New Plymouth), Mr. and Mrs. Riddell (Masterton), Mesdames Adsett (Feilding), Elliott (Wanganui), Fleming (Wanganui), Cameron (Wellington), H. Melville (Fordell), Williamson (New Plymouth), J. Marshall (Tauranga), D. Blythe (Wanganui) and Misses Newland (New Plymouth) and M. Blythe (Wanganui), were visitors to Hawera for the Livingston— Blair wedding on Monday.
