MAMOS DEFEATS ELLIOTT
WRESTLING AT GISBORNE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. In a wrestling bout last evening Mamos defeated King Elliott by two falls to one. Elliott secured the initial fall within a few seconds of the opening of the bout, bowling Mamos over three times in succession with flying tackles and securing a fall with a body press. In the fourth round Mamos equalised when he dumped Elliott after an aeroplane spin. The end came in the sixth round.
