WALKER DEFEATS DETTON
BRIGHT WRESTLING BOUT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A nrofessional wrestling, contest held in the' Town Hall on Saturday evening between George Walker and ■ Dean Detton was one of the brightest of the season. Walker won at the end of the sixth round, Detton being unable to continue after being. thrown several times with side headlocks and then being slammed. In the previous round Detton gainod a fall with a body press after having sent Walker to the mat a few times with, flying tackles. Detton proved himself a very scientific wrestler but this science was more than counterbalanced by Walker’s advantage in weight and strength.
