DRAMATIC RACE AGAINST TIME.

Whangarei, Nov. 7.

A fishing excursion to the Hen and Chickens yesterday ended in a tragedy following a, dramatic race against time to save .the life of one of the party. Very rough weather was experienced on the outward journey and James /Foley, aged 62, married with five children, and recently of Auckland, became so ill that it was decided to return to Whangarei. After four hours’ Speeding the launch reached the wharf just as the man expired.
