Tate and R. Luxton. The pastures in i the district were found to be well above last year’s standard, this being due not only to a better
spring but also to the better farming methods employed in pasture work. The points were five or six higher in average than those in previous years. As the pastures have to be judged again in the autumn the results are not final. The judging party was hospitably entertained by Mr. and Mrs. G. Salway, Mr. and Mrs. Ri Luxton, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Freeth and Mr. and Mrs. S. Topless. ! A local competition is being conductI ed in addition to the open one and the pastures -entered by Messrs -S. Topless and J.
