LEASE OF HARBOUR BOARD LAND. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Harbour Board land fronting the eastern beach, over which there was recent litigation in the Supreme Court, was put up for auction on Saturday and there was spirited bidding for the 62J acres. Mr. T. Rattenbury was the successful bidder for the 21 years’ lease at a rental of £54 per annum. No offers were received for a lot of 74 acres. At a euchre party organised by Mrs. VV.
