BANK MANAGER SHOT DEAD
SENSATION AT BRISBANE.
INVESTIGATIONS BY POLICE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Brisbane, Aug. 9. A sensation was caused in Brisbane banking circles to-day when it was learned, that the manager of the Commercial Bank of Australia, Mr. C. .E. Carr, was found dead in his office with a bullet wound in his head. Mr. Carr camo from Auckland five years ago to take the managership of the Brisbane branch. Detectives are investigating.
