DOMINION COUNCIL MEETING By Telegraph.—Brea AasoaaUcn. Wellington, Last Night. The council of the New Zealand Football Association to-night approved of the Wellington Association sending the Auckland and Wellington teams to play at Masterton to-morrow. The Westland Association forwarded a challenge for the Peter Dawson Cup, held by Buller. The fixture is to be arranged. An encouraging report was received regarding school football in Hawke’s Bay, where six good teams are playing. Reports were received that the Hamilton Wanderers had won the Auckland section of the Chatham Cup. Marist, Wellington section winners, were to play in the North Island final at Hamilton on August 20. The South Island final of the Chatham Cup is to be played at Dunedin between Maori Hill and Millerton on August 20. The question of a loan to Millerton for travelling expenses was referred to a committee for favourable consideration of a charge against the gate.
