' “The nations are arming themselves more cleverly and more scientifically than ever before,” continued the Liberal leader. “A thousand million sterling' is being spent annually for a greater calamity and a greater massacre tnan that which began in 1914.” The outstanding item on the programme of the Eisteddfod yesterday was a general choral competition for which six of the beet choruses in Wales entered.
