London, Aug. 5. “The Great War is over but there i* no peace,” declared Mr. Lloyd George when addressing 20,000 compatriot* at the Welsh national Eisteddfod at Pott Talbot. ' “The nations are arming themselves more cleverly and more scientifically than ever before,” continued the Liberal leader. “A thousand million sterling' is being spent annually for a greater calamity and a greater massacre tnan that which began in 1914.” The outstanding item on the programme of the Eisteddfod yesterday was a general choral competition for which six of the beet choruses in Wales entered.
