She carried a shower bouquet of blush carnations and freesias. Miss Rere Thompson, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and accompanying her was a flower girl, Elspeth Hood, niece of the bride. Mr. James Austin, New Plymouth, was best man. A reception was held at Otorohanga, and later the young couple left for Wellington.
