BOY KILLED BY MOTOR-CAR.
■ CHARGE AGAINST TAXI-DRIVER. MORE SERIOUS CHARGE POSSIBLE. By Telegraph.—Press AasocUtio*. Wellington, Last Night. In connection with Saturday night’s cident, when William Edwards, Eastbourne received fatal injuries through being knocked down by a motor-car in Whitmore Street, Paul Olsen, Sabo, ataxi-driw aged 41, appeared before 'Mr. W. H. Wood* ward, S.M., to-day. Senior-Sergeant Scott applied for a rrmand until August 9, saying there was a possibility of a more serious charge than that of being intoxicated while in of a motor-car being made against Sabo. The remand was not opposed. Bail was granted, in Sabo’s own bond of _£loo ana one surety of £lOO or two of £5O.
