SYDNEY MAYOR INITIATES PLAN. REMOVAL OF MEN FROM DOLE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, June 16. The Lord Mayor of Sydney has convened a conference of the Employers’ Federation, the Chamber of Comnierce, the Chamber of Manufacturers and retail traders to initiate a “More Jobs” campaign, the conditions for which, he is of the opinion, are psychologically right. The objective is to induce every householder to give odd jobs, and thus get men and women off the dole.
