Wellington, Last Night A further echo of the window-smashing affair on May 10 was heard at the Magistrate's Court to-day. Trevor Andrew Harris, alabourer, aged 24, pleaded gW to i charge of stealing a watch and a fountain pen valued at £6 15s, the property ot Walter Smart. ; . , , Sub-Inspector Ward said Harns picked up the watch and pen from the. pavement outside Smart’s shop after the window had been broken during the riot. On I?°®/ Harris went to Smart’s shop with the in tention of pawning the watch, but Smart recognised it as his property and summoned the police. When Harns was arrested he stated that he had attended demon gtration but had not taken part m the not. Harris was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment. •
