RED CROSS SOCIETY’S STALL

WIDESPREAD NATURE OF WORK. The widespread work of the Red Cross Society is well exhibited at the show. Posters done by members of the society, some hand-drawn and some prinked, make a striking display, the outstanding one showing a Red Cross nurso standing on the top of the world and welcoming the children of all nations. Another method of joining the children of the world together is the exchange of portfolios, books of photographs of tlrn countries from which they come, the work of the children in those countries, and letters of friendship. The stall itself contains a. large amount of work by the members of the New Plymouth branch, including : almost every kind of needlework, beautifully executed.

There is nothing that succeeds like success. This is very evident from the substantial increase recorded every year in the patronage accorded the New mouth Winter Show by its exhibitors. The following. analysis of this and last year’s entries tells its t a * e ‘ ' Last year. This year.
