OTAKI ELECTRIC SIREN FAILS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Otaki, June 7. Fire broke out at an early hour this morning in an unoccupied seven-roomed dwelling owned by the Whiteman Estate. The electric fire siren failed, causing a delay, but members of the brigade were quickly on the scene. The fire had a 'big hold and completely gutted the house. The cause of the fire is a mystery.
