PALMERSTON ROBBERY
MEN CHARGED AT WELLINGTON.

Wellington, April 5. John Schumather, aged 25, labourer, and Sydney Seiwood, aged 43, plasterer, were remanded to appear at Palmerston North on Friday on charges connected with the affair in which Charles Joseph Williams was the victim of an assault and robbery. Schumather was charged with robbing Williams of £53 in money and using violence, and Seiwood with receiving from Schumather £l4 he knew to have been dishonestly obtained.
