Rec. 7.30 p.m. New York, March 23. Governor Roosevelt’s aspirations for Democratic nomination for the Presidency were brought a step nearer realisation when he defeated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Garner, in the Georgia primaries by an approximate vote of ten to one.
