SUCCESS OF CLUB’S EFFORTS.
Electric light sports at Paiea, an innovation by the athletic club, were a complete success last night. The weather was ideal and there was a large attendance from town and country. The Patea Domain was brilliantly illuminated, the . work of the borough staff and helpers. The municipal band was in-attendance. Fast times were recorded in nearly .* all? events, one of the 100 yards heats being run in lOsec. The whole programme proceeded without a hitch. ' ' .
