MANAIA DEFEAT PARK. BOWLING MATCH* ON PARK GREEN. In a friendly bowling match at the Park green, Hawera, yesterday Manaia beat the home team by 131 points to 115. Detailed results are:

OTAKEHO HOCKEY CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Otakeho Hockey Club was held on Monday, when the following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. L. S. Mackie; president, Mr. J. Clarke; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. Nicholls, H. Johns and L. Bell; secretary, Mr. M. Adams; management committee, Messrs. G. Fergus, C. Surgenor, G. Surgenor, C. Davies and J. Clarke, with officers ex officio; auditor, Mr. L. S. Mackie; selectors, Mr. C. Davies, with the two captains of teams; delegates to association, Messrs. C. Davies, J. Campbell, C. Fergus and J. Myhill; club captain, Mr. A. Surgenor. New members were elected as follow: Messrs. J. Walker, J. Myhill, L. Symes, L. Windle, A. Robertson, S. .Wicks, W. Fowler, B. Jenkins and E. Nicholls. The finances showed an improved, position. The year commenced with, a balance of £l6 9s. Bd., and receipts included subscriptions £5 2s. 6d., euchre parties £l2 17s. Id., raffle competition £3 65., and annual ball £3 6s. lid. The credit balance at the end of the year was £22 3s. sd. It was resolved, that the subscription be the same as last year. The question of election of captain and vice-captain was left until the final practice before the matches commenced. It was resolved, to have a working bee on April 3 and. the first practice on April 10. ! , It was decided that, subject to the approval of Mr. C. Nicholls, the club use the same playing area as last year. Votes of thanks were accorded the outgoing officers.
