SPLENDID ENTRIES RECEIVED.
A busy day was experienced at the office of the Taranaki Agricultral Society yesterday when closing or entries for the show to be held at New Plymouth on March 2 and 3 took P,® - The entries received have exceeded all expectations, and exhibitors are aseuie of some very keen competition. Nine final acceptances have ben received tor the Fourth Taranaki Jersey. Cattle Oaks, the prize money for which will be in the vicinity of £75. The ring events, too, promise to be more and interesting than ever before. The steer ridino- contest, sheep dog trials, and leaping, riding, and driving competitions have drawn first class entries from a wide field. To those who may have overlooked the closing date of entries the committee would like J . > say that if they get - their entries in to the secretary (Mr. W- x ■ Okey) P.O.
