PICKLE BOTTLE HOARD TAKEN
THIEF STEALS COUPLE’S SAVINGS. CONSIDERABLE SUM OF MONEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Jan. 12. The theft of a considerable sum in notes and gold, which had been placed in a pickle bottle for safe keeping, was discovered by Mr. and Mrs. Pepper, Milson, on their return from a visit to Wellington. The amount taken was about £4O and represented savings over a long period.
