A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Stanley Evans, ibuilder, formerly of Lower Hutt and subsequently of Napier, to-day decided that his discharge should be opposed until the bankrupt paid 10s in the £. The amount owing to unsecured creditors was £3788 13s 5d and to secured creditors £11,795 10s Bd. Bankrupt blamed the depression and the loss in the value of his assets for his position.
