DATE OF NEW PLYMOUTH SHOW. 1 - ''<• The committee of the Taranaki A. and P. 'Society Pigeon and Canary Club met at New' Plymouth on Tuesday night, those present 'being Messrs H. J. Hall, C. C. Webb, A. P. Lister, J. McIntosh, T. ’Smellie, F. Hatcher, J. James, E. James, N. J. 'McKinna, H. MeNeill and F. J. Aldous. Mr. Hall was appointed chairman and Mr. Webb vicechairman for the year. It was decided to hold the club s ninth young bird show on April 9, and to include in the schedule several classes .open only to people who had not won a prize in open classes at time of entry, the birds to be the bona fide property of the exhibitor. Bantam classes for children up to I'4 years of age would ’be provided. The question of keeping the show open at night was discussed and it was decided that the hours for the public be 2 p.m. till 6 p.m.
