LABOUR CANDIDATE GAOLED
ARREST IN MELBOURNE CAMPAIGN BREACHES OF MOTOR-CAR laws. By Telegraph—Press Assn.— CopyrightMelbourne, Dec. 8. Noble Kerby, Independent Labour candidate for Melbourne Ports, has been arrested on 24 warrants of commitment, for unpaid fines or breaches of the Motor-car -Act. Kerby was -taken to gaol to begin a term of four months. His friends are continuing his campaign for him.
