Thirteen empty wagons, 'portion of a long goods train travelling from Springfield to Arthur’s Pass, left the rails near Kowhai Bush to-day and blocked die line for three hours. Most of the trucks were damaged, some seriously. Owing to a telegraph pole _ being knocked down communication .with thWest Coast was interrupted.
