The Australian rower Pearce captured the singles championship at the Royal Canadian Henley to-day at St. Catherine’s ‘by defeating Myers, Philadelphia. Joe Wright, Toronto, was third. Pearce finished the traditional Henley distance 9 3-sisee. slower than his Diamond Sculls time.
