over forty-four thousand. RECORD NUMBER FOUND WORK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last NightUnemployed registrations in tlife Dominion on June 15 numbered 44,482, compared with seven days earlier. The number of men qualified under scheme 5 and placed in work was 33.751.
Invercargill 922 1030 The Minister of Labour, the Hon. S. G. Smith, says the registrations are receding, but the number of men for whom work has been found is a record.
