AUCKLAND BUSINESS MEN MOVE COMBINE OF PARTIES INEVITABLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association.' Auckland, June 19. As part of a Dominion-wide movement aiming at the formation of a National Government a number of prominent profession. 1 and business men in Auckland have signed a memorandum which is br ; ng sent to the Prime Minister’ and Mr. J. G. Coates, Leader of the Opposition. The memorandum declares that a National Party inclusive of all political sections is absolutely essential, and sooner or later inevitabe; that the possibilities of the formation of such a party should be explained in a conference between all parties, because of the exastiUo- national emergency, whiali threatens to become more acute, public opinion b; made so strong that none should be encouraged to defend the interests of any existing party.
