URENUI WOMEN’S DIVISION.

A monthly meeting of the Urenui branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was presided over by Mrs. J. F. Phillips. Sister Corkill, New Plymouth, gave an interesting address. It was arranged to ask -Mrs. I. o. Johns, New Plymouth, to give a demonstration on rug-making at the next meeting. The president (Mrs. Phillips) consented to represent the branch at the Dominion conference in July at Wellington. At the close, of the meeting afternoon tea was served. Among those present were Alesdames Loveridge, o’Riodion, R. Pigott, Alouat, Guthrie, Bleaklcy, AlcKeown, Dunbar, Johnston, Salway, Tyrell, Sulzberger, Willison, G. Pigott, Alatiagh, Luxton, Frecth and Lee, Misses Free th, Phillips and Cole.
