FOOTBALL CLUB MEETING.

The Urenui Football Club held its annual meeting in the hall, Mr. L. Ratten bury presiding over a good attendance of members and intending members.

After discussion it was decided to again enter a team in the junior grade competitions and to hold an opening match on a date to be arranged. From enthusiasm shown by members who were already in training it was thought there was every possibility of (ieldiim a strong fifteen. Officers for the ensuing year were

elected as follows: Patron, Mr. P. S. Elliot; president, Mr. F. Healey; vicepresidents, Messrs. S. Topless and E. Elliot; general committee, all the active members; executive committee, Messrs. A. Chard, F. Wallace, L. Rattenbury, I. Sheard, C.'Bicheno, L. Herbert and W. Sheard; social committee, Messrs. C. Bicheno, W. Sheard, A. Chard, M. Rogers, R. Pigott, Q. Smith and L. Herbert; selector, Mr. Geo. Loverjdge; joint secretaries and treasurers, Messrs. G. Smith and R, Topless; delegate, Mr. G. Smith.

Subscriptions were fixed at 2s 6d for active members and 5s for honorary members.
