CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE
ACCIDENT IN COURTENAY STREET. When a young man, Mr. William McKenzie, turned the corner on his motor-, cycle from Eliot Street into Courtenay Street, New Plymouth, at 9.45 a.m. on Saturday, he collided with a car driven along Courtenay Street towards. Fitz- v . roy by Mr. George Smith, Which was about to go into the petrol station on the corner. As the two vehicles collided, Mr. Me- t Kenzie was thrown from his cycle and received bruises to his leg. He was not seriously injured, and his machine sustained only minor damage, but a mud« guard and a wheel of the car were smashed.
