DIVISIONAL OFFICE'S ABOLISHED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, April 24. Information has been received that as a further step in railway economies the divisional superintendents’ offices in both Islands are to be abolished from Monday next, and the former branch control sys tem will be-reverted to. Mr.
E. Casey, the North Island superintendent, in the meantime remains in Auckland adjusting the new organisation. Attempted record flight.
