PASSENGER HITS HEAD ON ROOF

Wellington, Feb. 13.

Three people were injured in a rather spectacular collision between a small private ear and a railway passenger bus on the Hutt Road at 9 o'clock last evening. One of the sides of the bus was considerably damaged and tho small ear was badly wrecked, parts being strewn all over the road. Tlie driver of the car, Gilbert Frank Tabernacle, and his companion, a woman, both received leg injuries, Those in the bus were thrown forward heavily when the large vehicle came to a sharp stop. One of the passengers, J. Ellis, was thrown upward instead of forward, and struck his head on the ceiling, suffering from concussion and shock, Tabernacle returned with the police to the Central Station, IVhere, after receiving medical attention, he was detained.
