TARANAKI APPOINTMENTS.

TWO WOMEN NAMED IN LIST.

New appointments to the Commission of the Peace have been announced by the Minister of Justice, Hon. J. G. Cobbe. , Included in the 217 jpsticcs appointed are 33 womeu. Ten new appointments have been made in Taranaki and of these two are women.

The following are the Taranaki appointments:— Ernest Albert Adlam, Waipuku, Stratford. Henry Ernest Blyde, Leppertoh, Taranaki. Mrs. Florence Jane Carter, Eltham. Hector Dempsey, New Plymouth. Gordon Mackintosh Fraser, New Ply' mouth. < / Nicholas B. Fryday, Ngaere, Stratford. Mrs. Florence Ada Polson, Stratford. Leonard John Rundle, New Plymouth. Leonard T. Jones, Kai Iwi, Waitotara.
