- £lO,OOO SUBSIDY ASKED FOR. Bjr Telegraph.—-Press Association.• Dunedin, Last Night. As a special meeting of the Dunedin City Council this• evening it, was iesolved to raise £5OOO for relief of unemployment provided the sum was subsidised by the Unemployment Board on a £2 for £1 basis for labour only and that if such subsidy was not-approved by the board the resolution lapsed.
