DENIAL OF SELECTION HUMOUR.

A report has gained wide currency that 10 or 11 members of the New Zealand cricket team have already been decided upon, and that half a dozen others are in the running for the remaining . places, which will be filled in accordance with the performances in the two remaining Plunket Shield games. The rumour, however, is given an emphatic denial by Mr. F. Williams, ope of the selectors, who states that th,e members of the committee have never been sufficintly close together to make any choice. Nothing will-be done until the selectors finally meet in Auckland.
