KING’S THEATRE PROGRAMME. f‘A WOMAN OF AFFAIRS.” The splendid and well-known cast that hds been chosen to support John Gilbert Greta Barbo in their latest Metro-C-oidwyn-Mayer sound synchronised film, “A Woman of Affairs,” which screens finally to-night, further stamps this production as one of the motion picture triumphs of the year. Gilbert, as Neville Holderncss, and Miss Garbo have as many opportunities for. emotional love scenes as.they did in their other two pictures, “Flesh and the Devil” and “Anna Karenina.” The high standard of acting set by the stars is ably seconded by an unusually strong cast, which includes Hobart Bosworth, as the stern father who stands between his son Neville and Diana; Lewis Stone, as Dr. Hugh Trevalyan, a close friend of the Merrick and Holderncss families; John. Mack Brown, as David Furness, stroke of the Oxford crew, and friend of Diana’s brother Geoffrey, played by Douglas Fairbanks, Junr.; and Constance, played by Dorothy Sebastian, who is the sweet and unfortunate victim of the passionate relationship between Neville and Diana. A Woman of Affairs” is a picture uo one can afford to miss.
