MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The selectors for the New Zealand cricket team to tour England will meet at Auckland at the Plunket Shield match between Wellington and Auckland, said Mr. A. T. Donnelly at a meeting of the management committee of the Cricket Council this evening. The team will bo eelected as soon as the match is finished and an announcement will be made of the arrangements for the tour, including the questions of management, captain and selection committee on the tour. Mr. E. Heathcote Williams wrote suggesting that the competition for' the Heathcote Williams shield should be confined to Canterbury secondary schools, reserving the right for any school outside Canterbury to challenge the holders. Consideration was deferred till later in the year.
