SEQUEL TO WAIPIRO BAY SMASH.

Hastings, Jan, 14. Flying-Officer J. M. Buckeridge, whose father is Mr. G. H. Buckeridge, Hawera, the pilot of the Spartan plane which crashed at Waipiro Bay on January 1, was sent to hospital to-day for the removal of an eye injured in the crash.
