DISPARITY BETWEEN PRICES

AGRICULTURAL EXPERTS MEETING PROBLEM AN INTERNATIONAL ONE By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.50 p.m. London, Jan. 12. Agricultural experts are meeting at Geneva under the auspices of the League Of Nations economic committee in connection with the experts’ report on the agricultural crisis and to consider the disparity, between the prices paid to the producer ar I those demanded from the consumer. The draft of the main conclusions points out, says the Geneva correspondent of the Times, that the state of the agricultural markets now is far more important to the agricultural industry in individual countries than, hitherto; moreover, the causes of the agricultural depression in various countries seem world-wide and the possibilities of overcoming the depression in any one country are most limited. The international nature of the depression is vital to the solution of the problem.
